Version 0.11.0 marks a major leap forward with the integration of a powerful AI Assistant designed to streamline your workflow. This release also features a completely overhauled local weather widget for greater accuracy and significant user interface enhancements for a smoother, more intuitive experience.

🚀 New Features​

  • Introducing the ClimaLinks AI Assistant: Your new intelligent partner is here! The AI Assistant is now integrated directly into the platform to help you analyze data, generate insights, and get answers faster.

    • Easy Access: Launch the assistant anytime using the new "AI Chat" button in the main navigation bar or by pressing the Cmd/Ctrl + K keyboard shortcut.
    • Seamless Interaction: The assistant opens in a sleek, modern chat panel, allowing you to ask questions and receive help without ever leaving your current view.

  • Smarter, Faster Local Weather: The sidebar weather panel has been rebuilt from the ground up to be more reliable and intelligent.

    • Automatic Location Detection: The panel now automatically and accurately detects your location to provide instant, relevant weather data and risk summaries. You'll see a small notification when your location is set.
    • Improved Reliability: With a more robust data-fetching mechanism and a fallback for development environments, the weather information you see is more dependable than ever.

🎨 UI/UX Improvements​

  • Improved Map Interactions: Defining a Geo Point is now easier. When you draw or edit a polygon on the map, the view will automatically zoom and center to fit the entire area, giving you a perfect overview of your selection.

  • Enhanced Dropdown Menus: Forms and selection fields are now more powerful. We've upgraded our dropdown components to support special actions, like creating a new item directly from the list, reducing clicks and simplifying your workflow.

  • General UI Polish: Continued refinement of various components, including buttons, skeletons, and user rows, for a cleaner and more consistent visual experience across the platform.

  • Performance and Stability: Updated key dependencies and optimized the application build process to ensure ClimaLinks runs faster and more reliably.

🐞 Bug Fixes​

  • Resolved minor UI inconsistencies in dropdowns and navigation elements.

🤖🐞 0.11.1 – AI Session Duplication Fix (October 8th, 2025)​

Thanks to your reports, we tracked down and fixed a pesky issue where the AI Assistant sometimes created multiple chat sessions at once — especially under slow or unstable connections.

✅ What’s Fixed​

  • No More Duplicate Sessions:
    Each conversation now correctly creates just one active session, no matter your connection speed or refresh timing.

  • Improved Stability:
    Adjusted session logic to prevent overlapping requests during startup or quick reopen events.
